Laraghbryan

Laraghbryan is a working graveyard beside a Norman ruined church where Maynooth professors and a late Irish governor still rest. The first Duke of Leinster stripped its wooden East Window in 1770 to decorate Saint Mary's, leaving the old nave hollow but unbroken. New burials still enter the ancient part behind the dividing wall, so the dead keep arriving long after the monks vanished.
