Kilcloghans holds a faded earthen ring on open ground, the kind of boundary people built before stone walls or written law. It may have been a farmstead, a refuge, or a marker of local rank, yet its shape still divides inside from outside. The fairy fort name suggests people once believed the circle belonged to another world, where human ownership became uncertain.
