Situated on a low rise of ground in undulating countryside. A silage pit is located on the site of a circular enclosure (diam. 27m approx.) which according to the local landowner was enclosed by a bank of earth and stone with evidence of external drystone wall-facing. Upcast of bank material is still visible to the N of the silage pit. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
