Structure

A single piece of brushwood (L 0.55m; diam. 0.044m) on the field surface with a metal-cut pencil point and evidence of branch-trimming. It is in poor condition and lies in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with ericaceous remains. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2003. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
