What is recorded here

Indicated is a 32m ringfort in low Galway scrubland where a collapsed drystone wall still guards a grassed chamber possibly built for human breath. The chamber measures 3.5m long and 1.2m wide with a 0.75m gap in its SW wall, small enough to enter but large enough to hold a bed, a fire and a person watching the road. A fallen stone wall cuts the west half like a forgotten boundary, suggesting the fort contained more than one life or one purpose.

In low-lying scrubland. Almost circular cashel (D c. 32m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall overlain by a field wall from WNW to N and from N to ESE by the td. boundary wall. Within WNW sector of the interior is a rectangular grassed-over stone structure (NNE-SSW; L 3.5m, Wth 1.2m) with a gap (Wth 0.75m) in SW wall; possibly a house.
