Hut site in Releagh

In a hollow and within a network of relict field boundaries (KE102-088011-). Described in 2000 as the remains of a roughly circular hut site (2.5m N-S; 2.1m E-W) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.5m). Large lower course stones protruded above the surface of the shallow bog and were obscured by rubble. The S portion of the interior was raised slightly and the N portion was cut into the upslope to create a level interior. On a subsequent inspection in 2007 there were no visible remains of this hut site, the land having been reclaimed and reseeded.
