Hut site in Knocknabro

In rough heather-clad hill pasture, on a S-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Clydagh River. The remains of a rectangular hut (3.3m E-W; 2.9m N-S) defined by the lower courses of well-constructed, drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 1m). Rubble from the collapsed upper courses obscures the interior and is scattered downslope to the S. There is an entrance (Wth 0.6m) in the SE corner. The N portion of the interior is cut (H 0.4m) into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope. Two other hut sites (KE076-009003- , KE076-009005-) are c. 9m to the W and c. 26m to the N, respectively. A relict field wall (KE076-009008-) is 24m to the W.
