Hut site in Fehanagh

In undulating rough hill pasture, on the NE-facing slope of Knockowen Mountain. The remains of an oval hut site (2.9m NE-SW; 2m SE-NW) defined by the lower courses of a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.5m) that is covered in moss and grass. Rubble from the collapsed upper courses is scattered along the perimeter, internally. There is an entrance (Wth 0.9m) at SW. A short arc of a drystone wall, which curves to the NW, abuts the N wall externally. The function of this arc is unclear. A large boulder abuts the NE wall externally. There is a hut site (KE109-055002-) immediately to the NW and another two hut sites (KE109-055003-, KE109-05505-) are located 2m to the W and 30m to the E, respectively.
