In rough hill pasture, on an uneven area of the NE-facing slope of Knockowen Mountain. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 2.9m) defined by the lower courses of a collapsed drystone wall (T c. 0.6m; H 0.2-0.9m). The wall survives best NE-SW but is in poor condition SW-NE. The lower course stones protrude above the blanket bog cover. The hut site is cut (D 0.3m) into the upslope at S. An enclosure (KE109-048005-) is immediately to the W and another hut site (KE109-048002-) is 12m to the NW. Relict field boundaries (KE109-048008-) are in the immediate vicinity to the NW.
