One of two possible hut sites at an earthwork (SL017-008001-). This comprises an oblong area (2.3m E-W; 6.4m N-S) defined by a narrow ditch (Wth 1m; D 0.3-0.4m). It occupies most of the available space in the S half of the earthwork. The other hut site (SL017-008003-) lies 2.5m N.
