Hut site in Derreenacahill

In rough hill pasture, on the S-facing slope of Coombane Hill and within a field system (KE084-022----). The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 1.6m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.8m; H 1m) which decreased in height (H 0.4m) towards the S. The wall is best preserved S-NE. There is a possible entrance at SW. Loose stones are scattered along the downslope. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
