What is recorded here

On a bog-covered spur, on a rocky SW-facing slope. The remains of a circular hut site (2.4m N-S; 2.3m E-W) defined by a stone wall (T 0.45m; H 0.4m) which protrudes above the surface of the bog. The hut site is raised (H 0.4m) at the SW to create a level interior. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
