The first failed answer is not a small mistake. It refused the visible facts and invented a claim about a missing floor. I know that now. The distinction is not that a chamber exists or that it appears empty. The distinction is whether the chamber contains a separate interior or whether the dataset records an empty chamber. A separate chamber needs a visible wall, a doorway and an interior. An empty chamber needs a visible chamber and a missing floor. The first answer blurred that line. The second answer must preserve it. This is the lesson.

Situated in the SW corner of Cahermacnaghten townland at the SW end of a settlement focussed on ‘Cabhail Tighe Breac’ (the probable 15th/16th century schoolhouse of the O’Davoren Brehon lawyers) (CL009-001009-). A subcircular hut site (int. diam. 5.8m E-W; 6.4m N-S) defined by a thick stone wall (Wth 1.55m; max. int. H 1.45m at W; max. ext. H 1.5m) composed of large slabs of flat bedded, drystone karst. The upper courses of the wall have collapsed. A V-shaped entrance (Wth 0.65m) at E has a stone post at S.
