What is recorded here
Fairy fort in Granagh, County Limerick: a 30.4m earthen ring on a west-facing pasture slope, its scarped edge and shallow outer ditch still marking the circle beneath grass and overgrowth. People may have lived there, excluded others, or simply avoided it because the shape felt owned.
In pasture, on W-facing slope. Circular area (30.4m E-W) defined by scarped edge (H 0.6m; Wth 1.5m) with external fosse (D 0.3m; Wth 1.1m). A NW-SE field boundary skirts enclosure on NE side. Interior, partially covered by overgrowth, slopes down gently to N.
