Semi-detached three-bay two-storey local authority house, c.1930. Renovated and extended, c.1955, comprising single-bay two-storey flat-roofed return to east having single-bay single-storey flat-roofed flanking bay. Part refenestrated, c.1980. One of a pair. Pitched (shared) artificial slate roof with clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stacks, rendered coping, and cast-iron rainwater goofs on rendered eaves. Flat bitumen felt roofs to returns. Painted rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with concrete sills. Replacement 1/1 timber sash windows, c.1955, with some replacement timber casement windows, c.1980. Square-headed door opening with rendered surround having moulded entablature over, and replacement glazed timber panelled door, c.1955. Set back from road in own grounds with forecourt having unpainted rendered boundary wall, and wrought iron gate.

A well-proportioned, modest-scale house, built as one of a pair (with 22805014/WD-15-08-14) forming part of a larger group of sixteen houses (with 22805007 – 12, 15 - 18, 47 - 48/WD-15-08-07 – 12, 15 - 18, 47 - 48). Although much of the original form and massing remains intact, the external expression of the composition has been compromised by the gradual replacement of the original fittings to the openings with unsympathetic modern articles. The house, together with the remainder of the group, is of particular importance as a reminder of the emphasis placed on social houses following the establishment of the Independent State. The house forms an attractive feature on uniform appearance in the streetscape leading into the centre of Kilmacthomas.
