Fulacht fia in Graigue Lower (ardcrony Par.)

Situated on a gentle NE-facing slope in pasture-land. The field has recently been reclaimed -it had been much wetter and prone to winter flooding. A low mound (diam. 17.3m; H 0.74m), which has been ploughed over, with very dark, charcoal-rich soil exposed. Dock weed is particularly abundant on the mound.
