Indicated is a fairy fort in County Kerry, Ireland. It stands on a north-facing slope above the Roughty River, marked by a low earth and stone bank, a shallow outer ditch, and a causeway entrance at the east. The circular space remains level beneath dense overgrowth, while the northern edge drops sharply toward the water. People may have lived there, feared it, or simply passed it by, but the fort still holds its shape against the hill.

In pasture, on a N-facing slope overlooking the Roughty River. A circular area (31.7m E-W; 31m N-S), partially covered with overgrowth, defined by a low earth and stone bank (Wth 1.4m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 3.3m). An external fosse (Wth 2.2m; D 2m) is evident NNE-NNW. There is a sharp drop downslope from the bank along the N arc. The interior is level. There is a causeway entrance (Wth 2.2m) at E. The bank and fosse are densely covered with overgrowth. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
