Terraced three-bay two-storey former house, built c. 1840, having recent uPVC frieze to front (south-west). Now in use as shop. Pitched artificial slate roof with brick and rendered chimneystacks, rendered dressed stone eaves course and cast-iron rainwater goods. Roughcast rendered walls throughout. Square-headed window openings with rendered sills throughout, having six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows to first floor. One-over-one pane timber sliding sash window and fixed timber-framed single-pane display window to ground floor. Square-headed door opening with tooled limestone step and double-leaf timber panelled doors surmounted by single pane overlight. Located fronting directly onto street.

This moderately scaled building has retained much of its historic character and form and makes a pleasing contribution to its surrounding streetscape. The retention of key historic features including timber sash windows and a simple display window enhances the visual appeal of the building and its surrounds.
