What is recorded here

Indicated is a ruined circular cashel in County Galway, Ireland, hiding beneath a later field wall. It sits eighty metres south of another enclosure, suggesting a small cluster of human activity rather than a lonely marker. The radiating boundaries imply the site remained useful long after its original purpose faded.

Some 80m S of an enclosure (GA042-135----). Very poorly preserved circular cashel (D 33m) defined by a drystone wall overlain throughout by a field wall.
