Fairy fort in Glendarragh, County Limerick: an oval earthen ring, 37 metres east-west and 31.6 north-south, with a shallow bank, outer ditch and three western gaps. The interior slopes south into marshy pasture, and a field drain cuts along the ditch. People may have entered through those gaps, moved stock or water through the damp ground, and left the ridge low enough that cattle could still graze it.

In level pasture. Oval area (31.6m N-S; 37.1m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.35m; ext. H 1.1m) with an external fosse (D 0.6m; Wth 3.1m). Gaps (Wth 1.5m) in bank at W, WNW and WSW. Enclosing element has been levelled ESE->SW. Field drain runs along base of fosse NW->NNE. Interior slopes down gently to S and is under rough marshy pasture.
