Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Glebe ((costello By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. It appears on the 1837 OS 6-inch map as a circular embanked enclosure about forty metres across on a gentle south-facing slope. The visible remains form a slight circular grass-covered depression twenty-six metres wide and ten centimetres deep.
Marked on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map (MA 74) as a circular embanked enclosure (diam. c. 40m), and situated on a gentle S-facing slope. This is a slight circular grass-covered depression (diam. 26m; D 0.1m). Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
