Half-hidden beneath bramble and old timber, the Glasmullagh ringfort holds its shape on the drumlin ridge like a breath caught in earth. Its bank still rises where the hill slopes away, marking a boundary drawn long before written memory. People may have lived inside that circle, watched the sky tilt over the causeway, or simply avoided the place because it belonged to someone else. The fairies keep what the field forgot.

Situated just N of the summit of a N-S drumlin ridge. This is an overgrown subcircular area (int. dims 43m NNE-SSW; 38.4m WNW-ESE) that slopes down slightly to the NE, which is defined by an overgrown earthen bank N-ENE and SE-SW, but the perimeter is reduced to a scarp elsewhere. There are tree-stumps in the interior, and there is an outer drain which may be a re-cut fosse. There is an entrance and causeway, which may be modern, at N.
