What is recorded here
Glashare Castle, a medieval church and graveyard mark the edge of a deserted settlement where platforms and enclosures still crowd a hollow way. The whole field belongs to the lost town, not empty ground. People may have lived beside the castle, worshipped at the church and filled the enclosures before abandoning them.
Immediately to E-SE of a tower house (KK008-026----) 'Glashare Castle' and a medieval church (KK008-027001-) and graveyard (KK008-027002-). Complex of platforms and enclosures centered on a hollow way and covering the entire field visible during a field inspection in 1987 and also on aerial photographs (ASIAP (176) 9-10, 3 March 2001).
