What is recorded here

On level ground on the floor of a valley, in reclaimed grassland. There are fair views along and across the valley. An oval enclosure (diam. c. 18m N-S; c. 24m E-W) is indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map and 1900 revision, but was subsequently levelled before 1987. It is not visible at ground level. Another enclosure (KK013-080----), now also levelled, is indicated on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map c. 30m to the N. This latter enclosure is currently located N of an undulating field boundary, running roughly NW-SE, which was erected between 1839 and 1900.
