Church in ruins

In rolling grassland at transition from slope of valley side to fairly flat valley floor. Moderate views along and across valley. Located slightly S of centre within a rectangular graveyard (KK013-060002-). The church (dims. 24m x 6m) is orientated NE-SW and is defined by a collapsed wall surviving as a grass-covered bank (ext. H 0.6-0.85m; int. H 0.2-.75m; Wth 0.9-1.1m). According to Carrigan (1905, vol. 3, 496-7) the E gable stood until blown down by a storm in 1896 and its ‘central window was ogee-headed, with external square moulding, and measured about 5 feet in height, on the outside, by about 7 inches in width; it spayed widely on the inside.
