Enclosure in Garrans — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

Garrans holds a faint circular shadow visible only when crops grow unevenly, marked by a shallow ditch rather than a wall. A modern road now cuts through the shape, breaking the circle into an open hook. The enclosure may be human-made or a natural depression, but the road suggests people have long ignored its boundary. What was enclosed there is no longer certain, only that the land still remembers the line drawn across it.

Aerial photograph (GB90.BL.16) shows cropmark of an incomplete enclosure defined by a fosse. First recorded as a positive cropmark in July 1990. Enclosure cut by modern road.
