Gallán is a 2.4m standing stone in County Cork pasture, set in a field fence on a hill crest beside an old ringfort. Its flat, rectangular body catches light like a forgotten door, inviting people to imagine what it marked or warned. The stone still stands where human life once moved around it, preserving the shape of a world that no longer speaks.

In pasture, on crest of hill, c. 30m SE of ringfort (8191). Stone (H 2.4m; 1.4m x 0.6m) is subrectangular in plan; standing in field fence; long axis ENE-WSW.
