Fulachta Fiadh

In marshy ground. Partially overgrown circular mound of burnt material (diam. 4.75m; H 0.15m). One of a group of four fulachta fiadh in the same field, one to S (CO072-099002), one to E (CO072-099003-) and one to NE (CO072-099004-). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
