Fulacht Fian was a cooking pit at the foot of a Kildare slope, destroyed before 1972 when farmers cleared the ditches and re-fenced the pasture. Two pits stood nearby, one sixty-five metres to the west-northwest, both erased from the living land. What remains is absence: heat, water, food and forgetting.

In improved pasture at the W foot of a moderately steep slope. In 1972, this monument, together with a second fulacht fia (KD029-029----) c. 65m to the WNW, was described as being ‘recently destroyed’ with a wide area of adjoining land cleared of ditches and re-fenced (SMR file).
