Fulacht Fiadh is a burnt stone cooking site in County Cork, Ireland. The oval mound still holds charcoal and heated stone, marking a place where people boiled food or prepared bark with water and fire. It sits beside a stream and near a second fulacht fiadh, suggesting a busy kitchen rather than a lonely experiment. Bowman wrote of it near a fort, but the ground itself speaks more plainly: heat, water, food and repetition.

In tillage, c. 20m E of stream. Oval mound of burnt material (18m E-W; 14.5m N-S; H 0.9m). Second fulacht fiadh (10285) immediately to W. Possibly same as fulacht fiadh described by Bowman (1934, 374) four yards NE of a 'fort' (see 10285). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
