Fulacht fia in Rathranna

In pasture, on S side of recently dug drain. Much-disturbed spread of burnt material; some redeposited burnt material also on N side of drain. Probably one of two fulachta fiadh recorded by Bowman (1934, 186) on C. Daly's land (see 11551). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
