What is recorded here
On raised and relatively drier ground along the edge of a bog, possibly a former lake. The land has been part drained for agricultural use. Two other fulachta fiadh (KK008-197---- and KK008-198----) lie 185m and 97m to the SW respectively. An irregular oval mound (diam. c. 20m) with three distinct and deep depressions. These are possibly the result of disturbance, though could also be indicative of a trough or troughs.
