What is recorded here
One of three fulacht fia (see also WI025-098---- and WI025-099----) identified during archaeological monitoring (Excavation Licence 04E1334) in 2004 (O' Donovan 2007, 485) and subsequently excavated in 2005 (Excavation Licence 04E1717). Described by Mc Loughlin (2008, 418) as measuring 30m NW/SE by 14m with one circular trough and three small pits sealed under the mound. A radio carbon date obtained from the trough places it in the Early Bronze Age (Mc Loughlin 2008, 418).
