Three boiling pits and a broken tomb circle level Clare pasture, seventy metres from a storm beach. Hot stones may have thrown steam over meat, beer or bath water while people watched the sea through grass. The tower house stands nearby, but the pasture still keeps the shape of that repeated labour.

On level pastureland c. 70m S of a storm beach and just E of Gleninagh tower house (CL002-007001-). A triangular mound (13m SW–NE; 10m N–S; 7m E–W; H 0.8m) of grassed-over stone. A larger more well-defined fulacht fia (CL002-007004-) is located c. 60m to the NW and a further possible example (CL002-007005-) lies c. 45m to NNE.
