'This fulacht fiadh is located in the immediate northern side of the roadway, which runs along the Clydagh Valley, in a partially reclaimed field, which is still marshy underfoot. The grass covered horseshoe shaped mound is 1.3m high, total dimensions of the site being 12.5m north-south by 13m east-west. The trough area measures 3m north-south by 2m east-west, and opens onto a small swift flowing stream, 1m to the south of the site.' The above description was published in F.
