Ferm holds a narrow standing stone, not much taller than a person, set on a SW-facing pasture slope. Its long axis points NE-SW, and its top shrinks like a finger pressing through grass. It may have marked a boundary, a burial, a meeting place or a warning. Whatever it meant, it has outlasted every hand that pointed at it.
