Hut site in Fehanagh

In rough hill pasture, to the E of a N-flowing stream, on the N-facing slope of Knockowen Mountain. The remains of a rectangular hut site (2.6m N-S; 1.6m E-W) defined by the lower course of a stone wall (T c. 0.5m; H 0.3m) which protrudes above the bog and is partly grass covered. The hut site is best preserved SE-NW. Only some of the lower course stones remain along the wall NW-SE, these are mainly grassed over. Another hut site (KE109-081002-) is 7m to the SW.
