In undulating rough hill pasture, on the NE-facing slope of Knockowen Mountain. The remains of a roughly D-shaped hut site (2.6m N-S) defined by a curving drystone wall (T c. 0.6m; H 0.75m) which projects S of the external S arc of the hut site (KE109-055----). The drystone wall survives best E-S. Rubble from the collapsed upper courses is scattered along the perimeter. There is a well-defined entrance (Wth 0.5m) at W. Another hut site (KE109-055002-) is 12m to the S and there is an enclosure (KE109-055007-) 34m to the NE.
