In rough hill pasture, on an uneven area of the NE-facing slope of Knockowen Mountain. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 3.1m) defined by the lower courses of a collapsed drystone wall (T c. 0.6m; H 0.45-0.8m). The lower courses consist of slabs which are set horizontally in the wall. The larger stones in the lower courses are partly hidden in blanket bog. There is a well-defined entrance (Wth 0.5m) at SE. Another hut site (KE109-048003-) abuts this hut site to the E. There is an enclosure (KE109-048005-) 18m to the W. Relict field boundaries (KE109-048008-) are in the immediate vicinity to the NW.
