In undulating rough hill pasture, on the NE-facing slope of Knockowen Mountain. A D-shaped area (2.4m NW-SE) defined by a curving drystone wall (T c. 0.5m at base, narrowing to 0.3m at top; H 1.1m) with a straight NW side (L 2.4m NE-SW), formed by a large slab which slopes to the SE. The slab is raised on its NW end allowing limited access underneath. There is a hut site (KE109-055006-) immediately to the S. Two other hut sites (KE109-055----, KE109-055001-) are 34m to the SW and there are relict field boundaries (KE109-055008-) 17m to the N.
