Feamore holds a settlement cluster where people repeated the same practical choice: meet the land, take what it gave, and leave behind the shapes that choice made. The cluster may have grown from one household to several, or appeared suddenly when trade, marriage or danger pulled neighbours together. Either way, the name preserves what the hands knew: this was a place for living, not a marker for showing off.
