What is recorded here
Mummy and child play in fairy forts. They dive into the earth chamber, climb the stone wall and imagine dragons flying overhead. The child leads the way, laughing as roots and rocks resist their hands. She knows the fort belongs to both worlds now.
In an area of dense overgrowth and outcropping rock. Marked on the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m). No visible surface trace survives.
