What is recorded here

Caherawoneen North holds a broken stone ring where a road now cuts through the west half. The cashel measures twenty-seven metres across, but field walls and traffic have erased much of its original line. What remains is a ghost of boundary, half swallowed by pasture and human convenience.

In undulating pastureland. Poorly preserved circular cashel (diam. 27m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall, except from N to E where a later field wall indicates the former line of the monument. A field wall also overlies the cashel wall from SSW through W to NNW. A road, running N-S, cuts through W half of the interior.
