What is recorded here
Situated at the base of a SW facing slope on a low hillock in in grassland with marshy land 60m to S. Ringfort (WM011-057----) 130m to NNE. Depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map as a D-shaped enclosure with straight side at SW and field boundary running off NNE and W side of monument. Not indicated on the revised 1911 ed. OS 25-inch map suggesting that the monument was levelled between the two map dates. No surface remains visible of this possible ringfort.
