
What is recorded here
Situated on a slight terrace on the W facing slope of a high hill in grassland, with good views to the NW, SW & S. Earthwork (WM011-062---) 180m to SSW. A large oval-shaped area (approx. dims. 60m NW-SE x 38m NE-SW) enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank and a very slight external fosse. From NNW-N-E-SSE the perimeter of the site has been levelled. Traces of cultivation ridges are visible running E-W across the interior of the monument.
