What is recorded here

Mortons and others still call it a fairy fort, but it is an earthen ringfort in Rathduff. A low bank, about a metre and a half high, marks a rough circle thirty to thirty-six metres across on a gentle west-facing slope. Cattle have worn gaps through it, yet the shape remains clear enough to walk around and imagine: a small defended place, made by people, later renamed for beings no one can prove.

In pasture, on gentle W-facing slope. Roughly circular area (36m N-S; 30.3m E-W) defined by earthen bank (H 1.5m). Many gaps in bank; worn down by cattle.
