What is recorded here
On a gentle SW-facing slope in pasture. Depicted as a circular enclosure with the designation 'Fort' on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. This monument has been levelled. It is now divided into two approximately equal portions by a NW-SE field boundary. The circuit to the SW of this boundary is marked by a low but well-defined scarp (H 0.1-0.45m). No visible surface trace survives to the NE of it.
