What is recorded here

Fairy forts are never empty, but the idea is a cage for human life. Inside is a kitchen, a cradle, a workshop, a bedroom, a shelter for children, old people and visitors. The woman is not a ghost. She is the mother, daughter, wife or sister of someone who lived there. The chamber is her household. The camera is an guest in her home. This is not fantasy. It is memory.
In pasture, on S-facing slope, on E side of stream. Most of Monument, depicted as embanked circular (diam. c. 25m) enclosure on 1924 OS 6-inch map, is now completely covered by dense overgrowth. Enclosing element is very slight earthen bank (H c. 0.15m) with external fosse (D 0.25m; Wth 4m). According to landowner interior of enclosure has been tilled.
