Fairy fort in Posseckstown, County Meath: a 41.5m earthen ring on a low hillock, unmarked on maps but plain in aerial photos. Its scarp rises barely thirty centimetres north, nearly two metres southwest, and a field bank once bit through the south edge until removed in 1995. No entrance or ditch remains visible, yet the circle endures intact, holding the kind of quiet that makes people call it fairy rather than explain it.

Situated on a relatively low hillock. It is not marked on any OS map but it is visible on aerial photographs (GSIAP: N 672/3). This is a slightly raised circular area (diam. 41.5m N-S; 39m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 0.3m m at N to 1.8m at SW) but the perimeter is slightly truncated by an overgrown E-W field bank at S. There is no visible fosse or entrance. The field bank at S was removed in 1995 (OSAP) but the monument survives intact.
