Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Pluckanes North is a circular earthen enclosure about 25 metres across on a gentle NE-facing slope in County Cork. Its northern and southern arc still rises slightly, while the SW side has been cut back by a field boundary running NW-SE. The landowner says the fort appears when the field is ploughed, as if the earth remembers a shape people have stopped drawing.

In pasture, on gentle NE-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circularenclosure (diam. c. 25m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Arc formed by low rise N->S may indicate line of levelled bank (diam. c. 21m N-S). Site truncated on SW side by field boundary running NW-SE. According to landowner, 'fort' visible when field is ploughed.
